Work History

Sr. Software Engineer

MediaWhiz
Plantation, FL
July 2009 - Present
At MediaWhiz I develop, maintain and refactor enterprise level software in the internet advertising industry. I lead a team of developers (local and remote) working on LeadROI, our core CRM product, to stabilize the product and increase code quality while adding new features requested by the growing client base. I have worked with third parties such as Lending Tree, Zillow and Google to create and refactor integrations including lead capture and real-time call dispatching/dispositioning.

I spear-headed several independent projects and cross-team integrations with the affiliate marketing and SEO/SEM teams. I contribute core APIs that are used throughout the organization and I introduce/mentor on the use of jQuery, ASP.NET MVC and S#arp Architecture including the implementation of nHibernate (ORM), Castle Windsor (IoC) and other technologies/design patterns. On most projects I coordinate with team leads, project managers, account executives and product owners to provide insight and documentation on the technical and business details crucial for decision making and overall direction of the product/team.

Volunteer Work

Zoo Miami

I have been a volunteer at Zoo Miami since 2010. My primary activities involve working with the Animal Resource Center doing close-up encounters in the children’s zoo. This involves educating the children and their parents about a variety of animals through hands-on contact.

COP – Citizen Observer Patrol

I have been a volunteer for the Citizen Observer Patrol since 2010. The organization’s responsibility is to assist the Broward Sherriff’s Office in patrolling communities throughout Tamarac. I participate in patrols and share in the responsibilities of Captain by helping to organize and schedule the other volunteers.
